Mouse/sensor specs are important for sure, but if you're not comfortable with the shape, you'll definitely f*** up. F.e.: I got a new 3.0 for some days ago. Even though it still performs good in-game (in my opinion) it's not as comfortable as my G500 for me (400 cpi, 6/11, 2.2 in-game). All in all comfort is most important factor. Of course sensor should be decent enough.
Look at people like f0rest, neo etc. They give a **** about sepcs as long as the mouse shape is OK.

im getting used to pretty much ANY shape as long as the sensor is (let's say) flawless. The sensor is pretty much THE most important thing in a mouse and cant seem to understand why do people always disregard the specs as they are the most important (if you get what you see though, cuz if a mouse doesnt deliver those numbers written on the mouse's case then specs mean nothing)+ nothing wrong with the G400/MX518 shape at all, i've held it for a little while, though i've never had any "serious" experience with the mouse, and for the minutes i've held it I liked it. The shape.

I've said multiple times my opinion on laser mice, which btw changed once I read this review/thread, at first I was all set to buy a G9x(laser mouse) and was a newbie (what I still am pretty much but a little bit more informed newbie). All in all, laser mice are and will be inferior to optical mice. Maybe laser technology is stil not on the same level as optical, but ofc this could change in the future.

therefore, XAI, Sensei, Ikari and any other laser mice arent worth my buy. And btw, have you ever asked yourself why (most of) the professional players use SteelSeries Xai, Ikari, Sensei? (not including Kinzu, because its optical, so nothing against the mouse but still, G400v2 > Kinzu, I believe? )
Maybe because this company is their sponsor? Maybe im wrong I dont know wink.gif

And for the record, I like the Sensei,Kinzu,Xai shape best, its the perfect shape I think, but as I said, they arent worth my buy unless they put the G400v2 sensor in them. Then, it will be the ultimate mouse for me.

The sensei has a lower chance of getting negative acceleration on like the xai which gets it like crazy. so the sensei is an improvement on the qck
I seen pro gamers use the Xai/Sensei i pretty sure it might be sponsorship but if they wanted to use optical mouse they always have the kana so I wonder why they don't use it kana preforms pretty good at 400/800 dpi

Am I allowed to call you dumb? Of course they use certain gear because they're sponsored by certain companies. You don't seem to get the point. They play with this and that and play well. Even if a whole 5-men-team use G400v2, (let's say) SK would pretty much overwhelm them considering they're on Xai, Sensei, Kinzu. And that prooves comfort is #1. Even the overrated HeatoN said that in one of his Qpad tips & tricks videos (or what they were called). ESC Gaming on the other hand could beat SK, and most of them play on IME 3.0 (4 of 5 except neo?). However, we could discuss on this for years. Fact is the only real issue on the 9500 is its neg. accel. Without it, DA 3G wouldn't be #1 mouse overall anymore. G400 has some flaws that disqulify it. I use 400 cpi mostly. At least never higher than 800, but others use more cpi. And that's why G400 or any other mouse can't be the best. There is no best anything, it's ALL about preferences[POINT]

BRAVO.

G400v2 - the best at 400DPI. [POINT]

And the positive, which is imo much more annoying.

If you use the palm method, then the Logitech G400 v2, G500,G700 (wireless), or the Deathadder. If use the claw method, then the G9x would do it. If you are on a tight budget, then the G400 would be it.

IMO Shape is important too. Sure, you can get used to anything but that doesn't mean that you can play your best with it.

Wireless mouse for gaming? LOL.

g400v2 would be it because not only of the tiny price (which ofc is a huge plus) but because of the sensor performance. and it is (almost) unbeatable on the market.. I'm saying almost because, its beatable (by other mice, not sure which ones) when set at high DPI (above 800).

True. but I prefer the better sensor instead of the shape. As I said if g400v2 sensor was put in a shape like Kinzu, Xai or Sensei, it'd be the best mouse, probably not only for me. but I guess engineers make them either 100% sensor flawless and 0% shape, or 100% shape and 0% sensor effort. You cant do that if you want to be a professional gaming gear manufacturer.

Lucifer, there is NO best.
woll3, yeah. I'm not that hypersensitive. I mean that's not really an issue for me. You get more accel. from Kinzu f.e.
