Yes i linked a LEGIT Review and people neglected it, So i think i justified MY point but i won't argue if a SB Is clock for clock against a BD, in most cases it will either match/ Beat it by a very small margin.
Then do it, so you can actually post PROOF instead of saying "No, you're wrong"
I actually want to believe Bulldozer is not a turd, it's not like actual competition is bad.

http://www.overclock.net/t/1194469/return-of-amd-fx-my-ocd-amd-fx-8150-6990-review-check-in-daily-for-new-results
There are a lot of multithreaded benches there, I'm not centending that the FX-8150 doesn't do well when you load up all the cores, I'm saying it does bad when you can't load up all the cores.
In the "gaming" benchmarks the GPUs are always the bottleneck when you try to run Unigine or 3DMark11, if it was bottlenecking in those tests it would be worse than a Pentium 4

Wrong question. The correct question is: "How much will Ivy outperform bulldozer?" Even my q9550 and your 955BE outperform the bulldozer in many aspects of performance. No joke.

Sorry if this has been said already (likely), but I just wanted to get my own statement out to you. No reason to waste your money on a bulldozer when what you already have is just as good if not better.

I think evryone has a very important about point in regards the bulldozer v intel debate and that is the architecture of the bulldozer.

Stop and think for a moment on that as there some major differences between an intel chip compared to a bulldozer, when you consider that you will understand why there is a difference and how much having an os properly supprt it as well as the apps and games support only then will the bulldozers true potential be realised

Did you even read what I typed? Why not just say "Hey just post this question over in the Intel forum so you can get all the info you need on IB." Instead you type trash like this that only inflames and insults others in this thread and section.

Please point to a single fact I said that is non-supported by data.

Here is a tip for you and others trying to push Intel products on how to polity handle this type of question:
The Question:
"Hi, I'm John Doe and I want to upgrade my AMD cpu to the newer AMD processor. Should I wait for the soon to be released product, or buy the current product? I really don't like Intel but if that is the best then I would consider switching"
The Answer:
"I don't own/like AMD but if you are interested in Intel please post in the Intel section where you can be informed better there about Intel products. There are enough people here in the AMD section to help out with your AMD questions."

See how easy that could be? But NOOOOOOOOOOO, the people who want to push Intel products and/or despise AMD throw around their "Opinion" starting arguments and flame wars. I rarely if EVER see this in the Intel section. It seems to only happen here in the AMD section, and I blame Intel users/fanboys squarely for this.

Maybe if AMD made the 2500K and Intel made the FX-8150, then you'd see this kind of thing a lot more in the Intel section.

Don't blame "Intel fanboys.' Blame AMD for not being able to make a better CPU. When their highest end FX-8150 cannot drive a single HD7970 without bottlenecking it, something is seriously wrong, and criticism is justified 100%.

I disagree. The rampant Intel fanboyism about BD has gone over the top, to include people sending hate mail to JF-AMD. Most of us know BD's faults and shortcomings, ok? There is no need to repeatedly tell us this fact as it makes people like you sound snobbish and gloating, in the end it does not help out anyone.

In a "Official BD criticism thread" it makes sense. It seems like every BD thread is an excuse for you guys to jump in and tell others why BD is a crappy buy.... I think the AMD users got the message... You act as if your mission from God is to convince everyone that BD sucks. You seem to care too much. rolleyes.gif

Positive discussion about BD is okay too, isn't it?

Outside the BD owner's club ANY BD related thread topic gets pounced on by the "Intel is God" club and the OCN "AMD hater's" club. It is stupid, uncalled for and just plain childish.

OT: TO the OP, sorry about the sidetrack from the people who really don't count here. If I were you, I would personally wait to Piledriver to come out and see how it fares. Ignore the stupid "Piledriver will suck as bad as BD" chants from the Intel crowd, they don't know what they are talking about. Honestly I think they are all afraid that AMD has done something out of the norm for the industry, GASP, they did not copy Intel!! Lol.

Yeah I totally agree. OK, we get it. Bulldozer isnt as fast as Intel. I got it. I still like AMD better. When I was a broke gamer, AMD was giving me quad cores for well under $100 and unlocked multipliers at every price point so I could have fun overclocking. Intel requires you to spend at least $225 if you want to overclock. Yes Intel is better. I still like AMD.

The problem is actually more like this:
AMDFan: "Bulldozxer beats Sandy Bridge in gaming when you're GPU-limited"
Me: "That doesn't even make sense, if your GPU is the bottleneck then the cheapest, most futureproof choice is the best"
AMDFan: "Bulldozer is most futureproof because of 8 cores"
Me: "No it isn't, I really doubt games will suddenly start being extremely multithreaded in 2012, when 2011 was still flooded with games mostly capping out at two cores."
AMDFan: "Bulldozer is best!!!11!!!"

That's a completely valid point, but it doesn't change the situation today that Intel dominates AMD at 99% of the market.
