Core Voltage

Thread Starter
Got a 3960k OC'd to 4.8ghz to get that stable I had to set the Vcore 1.475. However while in window's it's showing a core voltage on CPUZ of 1.44 anyone know why the voltage would be lower?

I suppose that would make sense... but that's still quite a large drop... The only thing I could think of is that BIOS will sit under that voltage setting if the CPU doesn't require it... But then at the same time that link was created while I was running F@H... so 100% load would mean 1.475v needed?
