Well i bought this Sunbeam PSU-BKS580-US power supply, and just wondering who has used sunbeam products and what you thought of them? I hope this powers my x2 4200 and x1800xt graphic card ok, and lasts a long time untill I can afford an upgrade. Link from newegg below.

25A on a single 12V rail.... mmm just enough I guess. However, it's a cheap unit, and I won't expect too much from it in terms of reliability. You could be lucky though

CPU: 7.5A stock (full load); 11.67A at 3.8GHz, 1.5V VCORE
X1800: 8.6 stock (full load); around 10A I'd say on an overclock.
Basics (mobo): 3.5A

oh well, you get the message... it's gonna be tight.

I'm already kicking myself in the ass chozart lmao. I actually found a nice price on a antec 450w, would that be good enough for the dual core and x1800xt 512mb graphics card? I don't even think it would be worth sending the psu back to newegg, unless if they pay for shipping back and not me. Later, Mike

because it's not good quality. The only Sunbeam that created waves here is the NUUO 550W, and even on that one the reviews are mixed. Some members had their NUUO fail, and the efficiency is low.

Also, that '580W' PSU only has 25A on the 12V rails, a number easily bettered by several 400-450W PSUs like FSP and ANTEC.
