Hey, I was on my pc recently when it just blue screened and shut down and every time i turn it back on now i can't see anything on the monitor :S i figured it was something to do with the ram on my asus P8P67 evo because the light was lit continuously, i hold down the mem ok button for what is meant to be instant compatability but it restarts and still i can't see anything on the screen. Before i have had a history of blue screens but my pc has just always restarted as normal after. PLEASE HELP

Hello Joss, welcome to OCN! smile.gif

I am not sure you have any hardware overclocked, because you have not listed your system specifications (which by the way you can do here). However, here's what I recommend you do. I'm not sure if your specific motherboard model offers a clear / reset CMOS button on your motherboard. However, if it does not, just reset the CMOS with the traditional jumper method. If you do not know how to do this, all you do is take the cap off of the first two pins, and move it to the third & fourth for 10 seconds, then move it back to the first & second. If you do not know where the jumper is located, look in your manual for the instructions and location.

After you have reset the CMOS, see if you can POST / boot into Windows.

as mentioned above... also some things to try if that doesn't do anything; try taking out RAM sticks, take out your graphics card if you are able to use onboard.

could be a bad memory stick. pull them all and test one at a time. reset cmos first though.

Hey I'm also facing a similar problem.
I got the blue screen and it restarted my computer.
Once it was back on everything was running fine?
Should I be worried?
This is not the first time it's happened it happened last month as well.

It's sort of impolite to hijack someone else's thread. i learned this the hard way as well. Anyways, on to the issue. Have you tried everything they suggested to the OP (original poster) above?
