Ok, but you are missing the point of what I said: I have nothing of use on this computer to someone who would want to come into my house, stick a USB drive in my computer and load a virus on it. (or give me an infected USB drive)

Yeah good point rolleyes.gif

to me people who say "I watch where I go and visit" I laugh. What happens if one day you load up a wrong page? what do you do? no virus software to detect it automatically and remove it. (people without virus protection)

Seriously tell me, one day say you are browsing the web and you accidentally click on a webpage that loads up a java app on your pc and loads a trojan virus? what would you do. Tell me how would identify the virus and how would you remove it. please I am interested.

If I feel my pc isnt running as it should, I run a scan with Malwarebytes.

They probably download a copy of Malwarebytes and run a scan. Or reinstall. Its pretty easy to tell when you have a virus unless it's silent. But even then, they tend to be pretty obvous.

Am I the only guy that uses it for a day or 2 after I have to reinstall windows because of a bad virus, then just gets rid of it. Then sure enough, 3-4 months later, same cycle. I just never learn.

Or in my case, go to a trusted site(forum) I had been visiting for a couple months (During my Titan Quest binge) and it got hacked. Luckily Nod32 stopped the trogan, and a day later Goggle blacklisted the site until they fixed it. What are the chances OCN gets hacked eh?
