More vRAM is always better, especially if you're running 1080p res or multi monitor configurations.

Do what he said ^

570 is a good card. The more VRAM is better in every case unless you're on low res setup.

Edit.. no you will not need a cooler. As long as you have good case cooling it will be fine even with an overclock.


As far as gaming will go.. Your 2500k will easily OC to 4.5 and that will open up the 570 so that there is no chance it's bottlenecked and will help all around. It's going to be a solid gaming rig.

^^^That, and as far as OC goes, unless you are water cooling there is really not a reason to get an after market heat sink anyway for that card.
