Core Voltage way off.

Just done binning a few chips and not having the best luck. Anyway i got a max of 54x and started to see how high i could bench. I need 1.5v+ for 5.1Ghz+ but when i set 1.54v in the bios it shows up as 1.64v in Cpu-z and HW monitor. Tried LLC Off / 2 and 5 with no luck. Motherboard is a UD7-b3 using F6 bios. I know that the 1.54v is a bit high but its only for a couple of hours benching. Water temp never hit more then 30c and cpu howers in the mid 50's.

What can cause this large gap between Cpu-z and bios?

are you using offset or manual voltage?

Just tried lower settings to. The difference is there at lower settings. 1.26 in bios showing 1.36v in Windows. So its 0.1v off all the time.

Soved. For some reason the bios was bugged. Had to clear the CMOS twice and its working again now. The first CMOS clear did nothing (Removing the battery and pulling the power for 10min) but after i cleared the CMOS trough the bios it worked as normal again.

That is incredibly strange. Try a BIOS update?

Gotta love Gigabyte's voltages.
1.296v cpu-z under load (1.345v BIOS)
1.30v HWmonitor under load (1.345v BIOS)
Still going crazy w\ LLC settings and how far voltages are off. W\ LLC idle is way too high even with LLC 1 \ 2 \ 5.
I'll clear CMOS next time I stop folding to see if it'll read properly.

Yeah, F6 is the last bios. I see people are recomending some older bios for Overclocking and i would love to try it out, but im moving to Ivy Bridge as soon as it is released so i need the later bios for 22nm support.
