Bought a samsung 830 64gb. What do I need to know?

Do I need to do a firmware upgrade right off the bat? Should I use it on my marvell sata II? I'm getting good results from my c300 on the marvell controller right now. I plan on using the samsung as an OS drive and the c300 for games, I also have another agility 2 that is full of mostly steam games, photoshop, office, ect. Does this drive work well with ATTO or ASSD? My c300 and especially my agility 2 would not work well with Assd, I got inconsistent results all across the board. Atto seems to work well.

thanks guys.

I get very consistent results in ASSD. I run 6GB Intel controller. Just make sure you install it on sean's guide and you should be good to go.

I wouldn't worry about the firmware. Not an issue yet. People have been having problems with the firmware...I didn't but others have.
