Gaming Time Limit (PC)

Thread Starter
Is there an option to limit the amount of hours you can play per day/per week?
I tend to play games on Steam and I can't seem to find it in the options. :/
If it's not available on steam, what other method can I use?

why would you limit it? if your wife beat you because you don't give her enough time... just wake up and control yourself it's the best way.

because there is nothing on steam to do it. why would they force palyer to not play? it's how they are making money.. lol

First of all, I wish I was getting laid.
Second of all, I am a teenager and I consistently need to use the computer to finish my homework.
To do that, I can't constantly be tempted to play games.
And your second point...they make money from you BUYING games not consistently playing a game you already bought.

Make two accounts. One for gaming and one for homework. Set up a time limit on the gaming account with windows 7.

Control Panel -> User Account -> Make a new "Standard" Account -> Click on it -> Set up Parental Control -> Set up the time you want to use/limit

I find it pointless. You still know your other account :\

i hate to say this and be that person...but maybe you need to prioritize whats more important and homework for school is a ton more important that a few hours of gaming...maybe you can have you're parents or friends help you manage your time on the computer when it comes to gaming...or maybe start doing your homework at school or at a library so you dont have the want to play games being you cant there and then once you get home you can play some games

Self-Control.

If you create the account of set a time limit somewhere, you're just making it slightly more inconvenient for yourself, rather then preventing yourself entirely.
