I have both the N520 and 212+ and i think that the 212+ is overall better. There are a very very wide range of fans available that the Hyper 212+ can use while the N520 uses 92mm fans. The N520 is also more expensive than the 212+. Are you using the N520 right now or stock cooling?

I'm currently using the stock cooler but since it's winter I have no heat on in the room also

The 212 is very good, and 1200mm fans really leave you with many choices. Also, if you get the 212 EVO, the TIM spreading is a bit easier.

Get the 212+ dont waste your money with the N520. The 212+ is on average like $20-$25 cheaper.
