While the E6300 would doubtlessly outperform it OC'ed, that is not the point here. There are a lot of us with 939 systems. Get this chip, sell your old one and you are gold.

To go over to the E6300, you are looking at the chip, new mobo and RAM. For the cost of this vs the total cost of that, this is by far the better deal with cost/performance considered.
