im runnin on the stock intel cooler but ive reinstalled the drivers and used drivecleaner countless times now, but how do i get rid of any remnants of the onboard cuz it still shows up in my device manager but ive got it disabled. i just found and flashed to the latest bios so im goin to pray that does it but i dont know yet.would maybe my soundcard be interfering with graphics card since theyre both on pci

Well... best way to find out is removing the soundcard.

So you did disable onboard in the BIOS, and it still shows? Seems like some driver is still being loaded... odd..

Went through the manual... and don't see it either... dang.

Now, I assume that when using an AGP card, the motherboard recognizes it and gives it priority...

Odd though; I would expect to be able to disable onboard in the BIOS.

yeah i looked everywhere for it, that was one of the first things i looked for cuz i had a problem like that with one of my amd builds awhile back but im about to remove the soundcard and see if thatll help
