Gaming Rig using Core i3 = Good/Bad? - Page 3

Neither good nor bad, but just fine. Most games, save for a few big-titles, don't see an improvement going from a dual core to a quad core. Regardless, it'll have HT. Not the exact same as a physical quad, but still just fine.

Seems so, I always thought that the 2100 was plain 2-core. Cheers for clearing that up.

@Rotsae
I have a feeling that I've heard that somewhere... And at those clocks the 200mhz will give a nice boost, but the 3.1ghz chip would do.

No problem. The Pentiums don't have hyper threading.
