I think Switftech labels their 4x120mm rad as a 420... but it won't fit up top since it's 4 fans. I think they should change the naming personally, I mean it's simple math 4 x 120 = 480 and 3 x 140 = 420...

Will most standard 3-fan slim radiators fit with the included mounting holes, or do you think we will be looking at drilling? I have an MCR320 QP Swiftech radiator and I'm not much a machinist. Would love to just be able to screw the thing into the top of this case.

Hi Sir,

I just came across your review and learned that you also posted here (I don't have an account in the other forums). Nice review by the way. It made me reconsider my decision of buying a Cooler Master for my upcoming project/build.

I am curious about the space for placing an RX240 on the inner front of the case; hopefully you won't mind posting some pictures where such a thick radiator is installed that way? I understand that both hard drive cages will need to be removed though. Just so I can visualize and help in my decision for purchasing this case. Thanks so much. smile.gif

I really want this case, when will it be available on Amazon/Newegg?

Also, I'm probably not going to water cool until the next time I do a major upgrade (few years) and was wondering, how good is this case for non water cooled PCs? Will there be good airflow on the GPUs due to no side fan?

A 3x120 slim rad will fit and mount in the top, and the fan for the section closest to the front of the case will have to be put on top of the case under the vent if you'll be using an ODD in the top bay.

From looking at the mounting hole locations in the front of the case, if two 120mm fans were installed, there would be quite a big gap between them. I don't believe there are standard rad mounting holes in the front, but a rad could be mounted using 4 of the 8 holes. So, if you were to install a 2x120 rad in the front, only holes for one "section" of the rad would line up with the Switch holes. For example, you would have to attach the rad with either the 4 screws for the top fan or the four screws for the bottom fan. This also means that the fan whose holes don't line up would have to be mounted on the backside of the rad toward the interior of the case (unless you wanted to drill holes). So, I'd mount the rad to the front with the top four screws, then mount both fans on the back side of the rad in a pull configuration.

The RX240 is 286mm tall, and there's room for two 140mm fans with vertical room to spare in the Switch. So with more than 280mm of height in the front of the Switch, I believe the RX240 will fit. However, I cannot confirm that.
