I have had no issues sleeving my Silverstones in the past. I went with the Seasonics, because they got such good reviews.

do you think the airplex are a much better cooling option than the xspc 480's ?

I have been busy with work, so slow progress on this build. I started on extending the 24 pin power cable. I am doing it one cable at a time. Using white wire under the white sleeving.

The pins on these connecters seem to come out a bit easier. Maybe because there is more to hold on to. The blue tape lets me mark the one I am working on, so I get everything hooked up correctly.

Sorry for the slow progress....

Finally got my Aquaero, but it was damaged in shipping... frown.gif waiting for Frozen and Aquacomputer to decide who is going to take care of the problem.

Trying to plan out my hard drives.

Here is the plan so far.

384 GB - OS Program Drive - 4 - 128 GB SSD - in RAID 0 - Using 3 drives and one as a spare off one of the SAS ports on the motherboard - Either Crucial M4 or Vertex 4 - I'm leaning towards the Vertex

6 TB - DATA Storage Drive - 8 - 2 TB - Western Digital REDs - RAID 60 using 6 drives and 2 spares - on Adaptec 51245 Controller

2 Pairs of 6TB Backup Drives Consiting of 2 - 3 TB Western Digital REDs in RAID 0 running off motherboard SAS Controller

This would give me a Total of 12 HDDs and 4 SSDs

384GB for Programs

6 TB of data - with an Original and 2 Backups

I use Microsoft SyncToy as my Daily backup.

Oh dear, that's some serious storage... But then again, this looks like a workstation so it's quite understandable biggrin.gif The WD reds some new drives, I know they're meant for stuff like NAS but I can't remember there being any reds when I build my PC.
