Downloading.. I liked this game but didn't want to pay for it. I don't really pay subscriptions, don't like em.

I still greatly prefer subscription. More content updates, no "hidden" fees. $15/month is ~1 hour of work a month. I think many people consume over $15 in food in a single day.

The only one I have experience with was AoC, and when they started F2P it was a mess. F2P couldn't access raid content, half of their skill trees, and had to pay to get into certain areas. Paying players spent more time sorting the F2P from Payers to do anything.

I must admit I quite like playing the game and the customisation is unbelieveable. Not only do you get to change your character how you want to, but you also get the same options for your bridge crews !

The only thing that bugs me, is the F2P model. As a subscriber the only thing I get over Silver members is 400 Cstore points a month, Which I'm paying approx £10 / month for £4 worth of points. =(

Other than I love the Lighting effects, Currently doing a mission on a space station where I'm fighting blue "Ghosts" whilst having a hovering flashlight lighting the way around the bowels of an abandoned sublevel. "Ghosts and Shadows" Main mission.

Good luck trekkies ! tongue.gif

I played it the first month for free. The space combat is fun but gets repetitive real fast, while the ground combat is absolutely terrible. Looking at the changes they've made since then (mainly just more missions and ships), I'm not really tempted to give it another try.

It looks like there's a Vogon destructor fleet at the end of the trailer, plus the Douglas Adams quote. H2G2 FTW thumb.gif
