What is even crazier? I am contemplating on buying this rig because of the price tag he set on it.
My only "concern" is that when I do wish to upgrade anything, let's say Ivy bridge, I would need to purchase the hardware and then ship it off to be installed as the entire motherboard along with the cpu is under this TEC Hybrid system.

What do you guys and gals think the price would be on such a insane machine?

My educated guess is $1.

Anyway... I wish people would put a reasonable figure on their classifieds. I have no idea how many thousands of dollars that thing is worth.

We were talking in the 4,000 ballpark for the set up.
I figured, the 3 GPU's alone are worth 1,500 used, add in a 1,000 CPU that leaves 1,500 for the rest of the hardware and cooling.

Well if you go to Digital Storm website and configure a similar build yourself, comes out to ~$10,000 shipped.
$9,643 for the PC, $400 for shipping.

Honestly for that much money, a Murdermod build would be a better choice.

You can try to offer the guy $4,000, but considering he spent closer to $10k, I'm not sure he'd go for it. You can do it yourself for a lot less though. Thinking $5,000 if you go all out.

In that case, not a bad price at all. Gotta say I'm a bit surprised he's willing to go for that price! thumb.gif

$4k seems reasonable for that setup. Not sure why anyone would put that kind of money into a computer, but have fun with it!
