A Good Audio Switch?

Thread Starter
As title states, I am looking for a good audio switch. I do not need video switching, which most of the switches that I see have as well. I am primarily looking for something that I can plug my PC and my PS3 into to have sound come out of my ProMedia 2.1s. I have my PS3 hooked up to my monitor via HDMI, so I would need the sound to come from that to my speakers. I found this and was wondering what you guys thought of it:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001F347K/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A121YN9IMLF9Q
Would that even do what I need it to do? Also, if there is a better alternative on how to get my sound going to my speakers, please let me know. I am an audio wiring noob, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've never used mine, but there is a 3.5mm audio in jack on the right satellite. Does that work for you(and eliminate the cost of another device)?

Otherwise, do you have an audio in on your sound card?

Neither of my sats have an open 3.5mm jack, the only one they have is used to connect them to the sub for audio. My sound card does have a Line In jack though. Would I just run a cable from my monitor to that and then leave my speakers plugged into my sound card like usual?

Sorry but I'm confused a bit. The right satellite speaker of your Klipsch Pro Media set, the one with controls for sub and volume, It has two 3.5mm audio jacks on the right side. One is for headphones and the other is for a line in.

As far as plugging in to your soundcard, I'm not sure what you mean about going from your monitor, etc. You would simply run a line (I think on a PS3 you have to go RCA to 3.5mm but don't remember) from the console to the line in on the soundcard and then enable that line in on your audio panel.

Of the two, plugging into the right satellite speaker of the Pro Media setup would be easiest.

Oh that, yea it has a second cable that ends in a 3.5mm jack, I am currently using that for my PS3 via my monitor. I guess I'll just live with it the way that it is for now, as my monitor only has DVI and HDMI inputs, it cannot do component video. That is why I would have to run a cable from my monitor to my sound card.
