hello
I need advice on a new headphone for the Sansa Clip +, galaxy s2, but mostly to the laptop at home.
No in-ear, it should be closed headphones.
Preferably, easy to run, cuz i will not buy a dac / amp for a while.
a plus if you can detach the cable like dr.dre beats.

Listening for the most part on Asian music , so pop, ballads, soft rock, rap?: P

price is max 200 usd

i want to buy the Audio-Technica M50

but is there any other in same price range or cheaper that is on par with the M50 sound quality? or close to, with Detachable cable or more comfortable for your head?

what about some senheiser HD 428s? there my personal faves, there alot cheaper then you want aswell. or some audio technics DT770Pros, just make sure there low ohms.

these are my 2 fav headphones alongside my Grado PS-1000. but thats a different league.

Please do not buy a gaming headset. The sound quality of similarly priced headsets will not be on par with audiophile headphones (save for a very small number of exceptions).

For a budget of $200 for easily driven, closed-back headphones, it's probably between the Ultrasone PRO 550 and Audio Technica ATH-A900, although the A900 does not have a detachable cable while the PRO 550 does. Also, the cable on the A900 is very long, so it might make going out with it a hassle...
