First of all I will be honest and say this is not directly computer related, I apologize if this is against the TOS or frowned upon, but I take suggestions from the OCN community with much more weight than I would trying to find the solution elsewhere.

Moving right along.

I am currently building a custom regulation sized pong table. I need LEDs that I know will not burn out since they will be sealed inside of a 2.5" chamber filled with internally coated clear UV reactive "paint" filled corona bottles under a 8' sheet of plexiglass. I want to avoid cheap LEDs but also need to keep the cost down since I have dumped around $400 into this project already. The LEDs will need to be relatively powerful and wide angle. To best describe the application of the UV light I will say the following example of what I have put together so far.

The table is modeled off of a football field that is themed to the Oregon Ducks. The top plexiglass will have a UV reactive logo painted on the bottom of the glass as well as OREGON on the end zones. To fill the inside chamber (the field) I have ~100 corona bottles (made for a fun night) that will be coated internally with a non UV resistant "paint" mixed with mixed invisible UV power of assorted colors, sort of like anti theft UV powder. I would fill them with liquid but this table already weights quite a bit. The plan is to wire up an appropriate amount of UV LEDs to very sufficiently light up all of the bottles as well as the design on the bottom side of the plexiglass. As I stated before I assume they will need to be wide angle and decently powerful. But I do not want them to distract from the original illumination design. I can get 100 low powered ones and put one in each bottle and then direct a few more towards the end zone writing and the logo, but I do not really want to solder up 100+ LEDs. If that is the only foreseen way to light them up without blinding people I'm OK with it, but it's something I definitely want to avoid if possible. Also if people agree it would look a lot more professional I am willing to make the time sacrifice. As I stated before I have already put a huge lump of cash into this thing and I want it to look as perfect as possible.

I need a source recommendation to purchase the LEDs because it would be a NIGHTMARE if they were to burn out like some cheap China made ones are prone to do.

I really appreciate your time, thoughts, and help on this project!

Look here: http://www.technicalequipment.co.nz/

Shipping will be pricey but I have found it to be the best quality stuff around. Perhaps give them an email, and see if they have what you are looking for. They do marine stuff but their LED's are pretty top notch. If it is not on their site they can usually order it in if you tell them what you want.
