yeah just select speed and raise the CPU/NB a few ticks,ensure timings are correct.

all these pointers are good but Im no computer engineer ..is there a tutorial somewhere that can explain to me what I need to do once I am finished installing the memory and reboot....but seriously thanks guys , the help is appreciated

First,find xmp specs with cpu-z.
375
In the bios go to MIT
375
set memory clock- set to x8.00,set system voltage control to manual,set dram voltage control to xmp spec.
375
enter dram config
375
set ddr3 timing items to manual,then set hilited settings to xmp spec.
375

Save(F10) and exit.

When it boots with the new ram it will using the 667(1333) timings/volts,then just do what I suggested above and you will be running at 1600.
