Hey people.
I have build a new rig not a long a go so I decided to make this video to test how my pc can handle the game on hight/ultra+frapsing.
All the gameplay was captured on B2K maps only.

Please leave feedback either way so I can improve future content. biggrin.gif

rig:
i5 2500k 4.2oc
gtx 580
8gb ddr3
win7 64
In game settings=hight/ultra, fps 70+-, 60 while frapsing.

great aim, nice headshots, sexy burstfiring techniques.
I approve this thumb.gif

(i'd like to see you try recon with sniper rifles)

Ye the file size of fraps videos is huge, like 4+-gb per 1 minute(but i edit it ofc, so it does not metter), but the quality is great.
What about bandicam? What pluses does it have, compared to fraps?

I would do Dxtory. Myself and many others have found the benefits in the program and love it.

over fraps it has:

Single file (no longer split up to 4GB segments)
Record at whatever res you want. (play at 1080 but record 720) no more full size or half size bs
if you record your voice it records voice and game separately (you can edit voice and game sound independently)

those are the 3 main points that comes to mind. Dxtory has a HUGE amount of options and offers alot compared to what fraps offers. The quality is exactly the same.

The video was awesome by the way. I am subbing to you, be sure to post more wink.gif

Well Bandicam uses a lot less resources than fraps , you can choose different output codecs and the file size is about 60X smaller (based on a 20min SC2 recording i made) , give a try to the 'free' version (watermark-10mins)

also, I am curious what settings you ran with your 580? and what frame rates are you getting?

I am able to run all high
2xmsaa
hbao
motion blur = off
FOV = 90

and very rarely dip down from 60 fps. I have my 580 at 900 Mhz core and 2200 Shader.

Very nice! thumb.gif
I like the slow-mo part in the beginning where a teammate comes in and knife's the guy to finish him off.

Sometimes I am using Dxtory as well(when i want to record at 720p only), but i have one problem with it, while i try to record at 1080p(1920x1080) the game lags a bit, i do not have that with fraps while recording at 1080p full size, having 60 stable fps.
When i record at 720p with Dxtory my fps does not drops down at all, dunno why it lags at 1080p...

Anyway people, thanks all for the feedback thumb.gif
