About to Pull the Trigger, Requesting a Blessing from the WC Gods of OCN

Okay, so after lurking for a while, I think I put together something pretty sweet so far here:

800D
Asrock Extreme7
i7-2700k
HD 7970

Of course, with such nice things, it'd be a shame not to watercool =)
But I need to make sure that everything looks good before I drop any money on it. If you have any suggestions for additions, subtractions, reality checks or otherwise I'd appreciate it.

My goal here is for a very acid-green glowing case that I'll be accomplish with UV tubing and some UV paint I'll be adding to the case later to make other areas of the case pop. I'm also hoping to make this setup run as dead-quiet as I can make it.
629
+ EK's 7970 waterblock

Thanks all wubsmiley.gif

EDIT: Should I replace the stock fans in my case with more Gentle Typhoons?

Everything is coming from Frozencpu. Also note that the compression fittings are adding 20 dollars to everything.

Tubing - I'd recommend the PrimoChill. Running the UV green in my sig rig. As long as you have some decent scissors, there is no need for the tubing cutter.

Fittings - Unless you need extra, or I'm counting wrong, the two you added are not needed. It doesn't hurt to have extra smile.gif unless they're going to the 7970 block

Fans - The GT fans are nice. I purchased 7 of the AP-15s when they were in stock and do not regret that decision!

Controller - Make sure to inspect the Lamptron controller. Some shops were sending out "clone" G-Vans units and claiming they were the same thing. It's pretty easy to tell, just look for the Lamptron packaging, and the front of the controller should say Lamptron as well.

Maybe 6 AP-14s? Run them in a push/pull configuration and turn down the RPMs for quiet performance.

I'm worried about height in that case. From colloquial knowledge, the rx360 isn't exactly thin. Will the heat/noise drops be significant?

I had an RX480 mounted on the top of my 800D and what I did was I put the push fans inside the case, and the pull fans actually on top of the case.

530

Worked out nicely for me.

I would definitely avoid that rez/pump combo. The D5 is a great pump from what I have heard but if you want silence then do not buy that rez. Go for a separate inline rez and mount the pump on a gel block or soggy sandwhich.

Im a noob so you might want to confirm what I am saying but I have a different version xspc rez/pump combo and it is very loud. I have replaced it and the replacement is loud.

I am replacing mine as soon as I have time.

Ditto, same pump and rez... not a single problem.

Looks like a good setup
