Was this is good buy? Asus X54C-BBK5 i3 2350m

Hey guys I just wanted to get your opinions on whether or not I made a wise decision in buying this laptop.
I woke up this morning and forgot I had placed my MSI wind u100 netbook on my chair and accidentally sat on it full force. I ended up cracking the screen in one corner and instead of replacing the screen I decided to just buy a whole nother laptop all together.

Here are the specs for the one I just purchased from Best Buy @$450 after tax:
5.8bs; 15" 1366x768 LED; Intel Core i3-2350M Dual-Core Sandy Bridge 2.3GHz; 4GB RAM; 320GB HDD; DVD burner; 802.11n + gigabit; Windows 7 Home Premium; webcam; 4-cell battery; HDMI output; 1yr warranty

I honestly would have gotten a cheaper laptop considering I paid $150 for my netbook but the prices these days for a new one are up in the 250-300 range and at that price pt i might as well get a real laptop.

also note that I don't care about battery life, because I'm always plugged into a socket at school.

Thanks in advance!

It's got a 4-cell battery and it looks like it is made of lead (5.8 lbs!). Other than that, you get sandy bridge and the works for a great price. There might have been a better deal out there, because I was able to get my laptop at a little bit less than that. But despite that, it isn't a bad buy.

Man I have watched ASUS laptops for two years
Now.  This one looks perfect for what I want to do.
I would buy it if I could get a backlit keyboard for it.
Does anyone know if it can be done?   I called ASUS
Support today and asked, but the guy stated he had
Never had that question asked before.  He looked,
But said they did not sell a replacement backlit keyboard
For this computer.    Cool , but will it work with one and can I buy
One for it.   Very nice looking computer.  Sorry to hijack the thread
but I figure some smart computer guru would
Know.  Yes I agree good price.
