[Engadget] AT&T to adjust data plans January 22nd, offers more gigs for more money - Page 4

I've had nothing but bad luck at the Sprint store as well. They are almost never allowed to bend policies either, even if its over something bogus.

I am not really looking forward to dealing with AT&T after hearing so many complaints, but Vita being AT&T exclusive I don't have much of a choice, and I do want it.

I've been an at&t customer for about 8 years now and I've never had an issue once with them...Seriously just makes me wonder if the hate for them is all propaganda people hear, much likes the Windows Vista fiasco.

How much??

Over here I pay £10 ($15) per month for unlimited data, 250 minutes and unlimited texts, 1 month rolling contract. So that's my entire mobile bill each month

I don't think I could justify having a smartphone if it cost that much for data...

Finally something where the UK prices are better than our American friends'!

Unlimited but with limits. When I hit about 4GB, my speed gets throttled to about 5-7k per second. I use my phone for streaming radio and movies roughly 40 hours per week, plus downloads on market etc.

Why do you guys need Data in your Cellphones when only thing you can do is 300MB. If i want data i want it more then just email and bbm. I want to stream youtube, watch my videos from my home servers, download apps, stay updated, browse the web at its fullest.

Hmm...I had better make sure I can keep my 200MB $8 plan. Data plans on phones are worthless are far as I can see. It is hard to actually find places where I cannot hook up to a free wifi. I use the "data aspects" of my phone quite often, but I've never gone over 100MB of data usage on the data.

Kinda makes me puke. I think Verizon is cheaper, no? Cheaper, but not worth it. I'll stick to my dumbphone until unlimited data.
