Any one formiliar with the antec water coolers?

Hello ocn'ers
Im rather new to ocn and i achieved my first air oc on my sig rig to 3.8ghz.
If i go up temps get out of line of what my proc can handle so i whas thinking of watercooling it so i can go to 4+ghz(no need for vid card as it only gets to 71c max temp)
I found this one for 50euro and wanted to know youre opinions about it
http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Waterkoeling_CPU-koeler/Antec/KUeHLER_Hsub2-subO_620/524574/?tn=HARDWARE&l1=Koeling&l2=Processor
Will it cool my proc better then the katana3 i have atm?
Thanks for youre thoughts:)

Although I'm a fan of Scythe heatsinks, they do not perform very well with temps; they are focused on silent cooling and the Katana 3 is a pretty cheap model.

The Antec H2O 620 will make a big difference in temps, although it is not the best model from Antec you should still see an improvement.

If you want to get the best temps possible for a good price go with the Noctua D14 which is also very quiet.

Thanks for youre reply mate,
I looked at it and its 20 euro more expensive.
I dont mind to put in more bucks but then i do want the best for that 70 euro.
I could also buy the h60 crossair watercooler for the same ammount as the noctua you linked.
So then the next question.
I assume the h60 is better then the antec watercooler but will it also beat the noctua aircooler?

They seem on par, although I would personally say the D14 will do better, although some benchmarks will disagree. Should get other opinions on this one.

Hi,

im in the same boat as you, ive got a scythe katana 3 and im thinking about the antec also..
ive done some research and looked at reviews and they seem to be saying the antec is better than the scythe and the h60
im running @4 with my 960t...24 idle and 34 f/load @ 1.39

so im thinking about getting the antec..

Thanks for youre thoughts mate,
Although i think i will sell my system to build something intel way.
I tried a oc @3.8 wich is max i can get deu to heating and to be honest it didnt give me a big boost in userfeeling as i whas expecting:( not sure if buying watercooling and push it to like 4.2 will satisfy me.
Men i wish i could get those temps on my oc:(

Well you can always use the new heatsink on your new build anyways.

The 620 with a push pull setup on the radiator actually perfromed higher than the 920 did in testing. Its a very efficient cooler and I think you will be pleased. H60 needs another fan as well but it is right on par with the 620 is you compare stock to stock. I would recommend the 620 with another fan added or the corsair h80, as it has a thicker rad and push pull setup factory.
