Where do you see Socket F? 4x4 is for AM2 unless im missing something.
But anyways, If AMD wants to make keep increasing its processor clock speed, dont flame them about it.. No when people see the X6800 vs the FX whatever and the FX is at 3.0 and the 6800 is at 2.93, what do you think the average joe will buy? Im still going on with it that AMD has built the reputation of the gamer's processor, and things like that take awhile to get to the uninformed. AMD still has the server market though, much better scalability when compared to the Intel offerings.
*Note, thats not performance.. Its scaling.. AMD wins out when there are alot of processors, for other systems like 1P, 2P Intel still wins in what it always does*
