Get xpadder, set it up with a controller to the point where you feel like you'll play competitively, get CS:S.
I'll play you 12 rounds on your map and 12 on mine.
If you legitimately use a controller, I'll win.
I'm not even that good and I'm pretty out of practice if my play earlier today was anything to go by.

And CS:S is giving you an easy game as well because the hitboxes are huge.

In addition to this, there is simply no way a console gamer can match a professional PC gamer who's using a mouse and keyboard.
Watch some of the rails in this video, you literally can't do that with a console pad.

how about you get a m and k for xbox and lets go at it...

Its all about what someone is used to. You should go through and read the entire thread.
Your simply trying to argue something that is not comparable.

You might as well say that someone who drives on the right side their car is a better driver than a person that drive on the left side.

I read the thread.
Your argument doesn't make sense, it's entirely comparable.
Just take a sample of professional PC gamers and professional console gamers and compare their reaction times in a given multi-platform game, comparison made.
I firmly believe that the PC gamers would outmatch console gamers.

The guys on the right and left use the same control mechanism to drive.
This is more like saying the guy who needs hand controls to accelerate and brake might be at a disadvantage when compared to an ordinary driver. He might be at an advantage too but there's likely to be a difference in the effectiveness of the two methods.

Edit: By reaction times I mean the duration of time from spotting to killing. That was poorly worded on my part.

Halo most certainly does have auto aim. Unless you're talking about Halo 1 specifically and not the franchise (or maybe the PC version?). Most notably I've aimed at explody barrels to use them on enemies and my aim will "lock on" to a player running by them causing me to miss (I may be terrible, but I can at least hit a stationary target! tongue.gif). It's quite annoying.

I think at least halo 2/3 do. Maybe the first didn't. But it's been long enough since I've played any of them that I don't remember exactly which ones it has occurred in.

I know this was brought up a couple pages back but FASA Studios' Shadowrun.
I am a long time player of Shadowrun and it was actually my first Xbox 360 game.
Cross Platforming was a good idea by FASA and they almost hit the spot with it, considering how well they balanced almost everything out, they nearly did "the impossible" correctly for the first time.
There are still several matches at any time being played every day since. This is a game that came out in May of 2007.
Xbox 360 players still battle against PC players. Sure, PC players usually have the average if they have a good rig but they do have a minor disadvantage against Xbox players as PC doesn't have that aim assist. It is a very minor disadvantage however.

Some console players shoot better than PC players mainly because of the PC players' rig slowing their fps down plus not having that minor aim assist which can come in handy in VERY close shoot outs.

Halo has had quite a bit of Aim Assist throughout the franchise.
All Xbox 360 games do have a bit of Aim Assist and some more than others but it's usually such a minor amount, it doesn't make too much of a difference.

It has nothing to do with their respective skills and everything to do with their tools. You have gaming mice accurate enough to read 6000 dots in an inch, whereas a control pad is less accurate than a 800 dpi mouse coupled with a 60ms latency.

Its like you're comparing a handsaw to a chainsaw, neither of which says anything about the skills of the lumberjack using them.

What matters is the playing field.

All console games have some sort of aim assist, COD most noticeable and the worst. I always miss my shots when I played COD on xbox because Crosshair would follow someone crossing it when aiming long distance or because it slowed down too much.

You might as well say, "oh well a motorcyle driver is better than a car driver, they can turn into corners better."
You cant compare pc skills to console skills. If you think that get your best pc player and I can shut them down on console, plain and simple. Why can I do that, well its simple cause ive played console more than that pc player.

Yes you can, and it has been proven. PC gamers, even the newbish casuals, are on par with pro players.

It hasn't really, there was one experiment carried out by Microsoft which wasn't very well documented. It's not exactly solid proof.
