How do people aim so well in console fps? - Page 8

Xbox has something referred to as ''Sticky-targeting'' which is pretty much an auto-aim that makes it alot easier to aim at other players.

It's not like it isn't still an on going argument. Controller vrs sword and board will go on until an actual good test is done.

I know a couple of people that use controllers for every PC game they play and they are dang good...wizards even. However, I know they are the exception and not the rule. So it is possible, but the average PC gamer will have much more control than the average controller user. Though almost every game made these days is design to be played with a controller so have to account for that too.

Yea I'm sure there's always going to be people bantering back and forth. I personally use both a controller and mouse and keyboard for gaming on my PC. But for all my FPS games I use mouse and keyboard.

Just practice man, I'm still more comfortable with a controller than I am with kb/m. I was a console gamer for 8 years before I got into PCs, that's a lot of practice tongue.gif
Auto aim helps, but my gun accuracy in MW3 is still better on xbox than pc. The exception for me is sniping, that I do better with a mouse. But I'm still bad at more typical gun aiming and faster paced stuff.

Ha thread revival is a success.

This has already been answered really, auto aim. Focuses in on the target (mostly) and then you adjust after.

Hooked up my 360 controller to a buddy's Llano box for Borderlands...it pretty much sucks the fun right out of it for me.
Surrounded by enemies? Just keep locking on and blind firing. Most of them will die this way.

after playing BF3, BO2 and Halo 4, halo is the only one with the sticky targeting, unless you can turn it on in the menu somewhere.
