Heey

I'm building a system that can switch the configuration of my speaker setup.

Why??

My room has my pc and my tv at two different places. I want to make a switch system which changes my speaker configuration in one time so i can switch to dolby surround mode for pc and tv. I use my pc as dvd player for my tv and i use my speaker set (Z5500) from my pc.

later this day i will make and upload some pictures of the equipment'i'm using

Here some pictures of the home made switch. It took some time to complete but it works perfect now, the only problem to solve is hiding the huge amount of cables.

I also have an problem with my soundcard. after reinstalling my pc. it says that some cables are not well connected. now my center speaker won't work. I already experienced this problem before making this switch..

any solutions

The only thing left to do is mount an 9 volt battery to the system. and the build a switch on my desk. the i can change my speaker configuration by pressing one button.
