Can anyone help me get my 2500K past 4.1Ghz!? (ASRock Extreme4 Gen3) [Solved - Motherboard BIOS is buggy!] - Page 4

Sell your board and buy an Asus maxiumus gene-z (same price). I got 4.3GHz @ 1.24 Volt with my 2500K
and stable as hell!

which is dated 7th of january 2011 when SB chips had just come out right?
I'm not really worried about going up to 1.4V but dont want to go higher and would definitely prefer to be lower! Everything i read tells me that i shouldn't need more than 1.36V to achieve 4.6Ghz. Just hasn't worked out that way yet though.

Have u tried settings that ive posted. I know its different mobo...

lol it cracks me up when people just make those wild suggestions out of nowhere as if money is nothing. just upgraded my cpu, ram and mobo just over a week ago... i dont think its the motherboards fault seriously, im pretty sure its the cpu.

yeh i know. it might just need some settings changed that others usually dont. there's probably not much point in my posting my settings as i barely change anything to run 4.1ghz. what i will do though is screen shots of my BIOS later so everyone can see exactly whats there smile.gif
