[BF3Blog] Battlefield 3 hacking problems escalate - Page 15

From a diehard BF guy: Game is still not done. Maps are grossly unbalanced depending on side. Weapons are still terrible except for a few. I mean, the M320... Really? People complained about CoD noobtube, but GET REAL. Nerf it already.

I'm waiting on D3.

OK, so there are people saying as long as you play on servers that have a constant admin or whatever, then the hacking will be minimal. Alright then how do i know if the server has an active admin? I'm looking at the server browser but not sure what to look for!

If a moderator gets caught hacking, he should be banned. Stats wipe is not a severe enough punishment.

He was banned. Every player who is banned also gets a stats wipe. This has been a known fact that this is how DICE is taking care of the issue.

I personally see no point in wiping a players stats if he's banned. He can't play anyways, so why would the stats even matter at that point? Then again I guess the same could be said the other way around.

His unrealistic stats might still show up in the global leaderboards and on the page where you can see how you rank among your friends.

You almost have to get a direct hit with the M320 to kill anyone with it, why nerf it, its more useful as a suppression tool than a weapon, just to deter people from going one way or another.

The example you gave is multivariable.

gonna be 30 soon, and I'm noticing my age now when it comes to response time, the reason I do as well as i do, is player predictability. 25 years experience helps in this field

Lol! I know what you mean. But the little responstime loss we have experienced is compensated by our higher wisdom wink.gif

And take comfort in that the loss from teen-40 is less than inividual diffrence, so at 30, if you had great reflexes and exercied it, you might still have better responstime than an
fast 16 years old!

Im not:cheers:

Each time I see a thread about hackers or cheaters I'm reminded of that video where that one guy gets tossed out of a LAN event by an angry mob and his computer gets thrown out and smashed next to him since he was caught cheating.
I remember seeing that old video. I wonder if there were any new videos out there on the tube catching cheaters cheating fps and getting their PC thrown out. I would have loved to see more of that! biggrin.gif
