Yeah it's pretty good. To get the clocks even more stable, lower the RAM frequency and tighten up the timings. That usually gives a higher performance boost. Always remember that the minimum NB frequency should be 3 tImes the RAM frequency before the dual data rate. For e.g, if you're running the memory at 800Mhz (1600Mhz), then the NB frequency needs to be 3x800 = 2400Mhz. That is the MINIMUM. AT 933Mhz (1866Mhz) you need 2800Mhz.

Of course the higher NB frequency is better. How you achieve your clock speeds is irrelevant once its stable. Mixing and match may allow you to reach a higher OC but stable is stable. Use the one with the 2400 NB.

Also your NB has a multiplier as well, you can use (200*18) and up the multi on the NB to increase it to 2400 thumb.gif

Hey guys, just an update on my PC an CPU. I got it stable on all 4 cores... just had do clock the beast down a little bit... its running at 3.7GHz right now. I have ran prime95 on it for 24hours no problems. oh also i recently upgraded my GPU from a 6670 to a 6790... big jump in gaming capabilities for me. biggrin.gif

Some clock speed sacrifice may be needed to get the 4th core working but depending on the app it might give you more benefit than running just 3 cores.  Congrats, you lucky duck! thumb.gif Considering the smaller 92mm Hyper 101 cooler that's pretty good.... although you should turn it around (i.e. mount the fan so that it blows back towards the rear system fan and doesn't fight with it) and you will run somewhat cooler.

Where are you at for CPU voltage? Could be better if you have headroom.

if you have some spare budget you could upgrade your cpu cooler and probably get it a little higher. its not just voltages its also temps too. id see about a bigger cpu cooler and you might get it back to 4.0ghz stable.
