So they laugh at amd offer but they do not show any real product LOL at them. Unless they show any real product i clean my ass with their words HAHAHAHA.

Anyway amd pricing is crap.

So a 225w nVidia card from the same generation as a 250w AMD card has similar performance? Who would have thought.

If the GTX 760 Ti is really 225w then I won't be at all surprised if it comes on par with a GTX 580/7950. The only question that remains is how much can AMD lower their prices, 7970 at $400 anyone?

In AUS.
7970 is $729
3GB GTX 580 is $559

So in Australia nVidia is still leading Price/Performance.

With an AMD 7970 refresh knocking at the doors, this is exactly the kind of performance we should be expecting from Kepler.
GTX 680 is going to smash 7970 performance by at least 30-40%.

Sadly it is, I'm expecting the price gouging to end once the complete range arrives, we saw similar thing happen with the GTX 580 on launch too.

Sorry but AUS is not relevant to making a destitution in OCN. Its all about NA. GTX580 3GB i am pretty sure was more then $559 there because it was going for $590 here too.
Also does it even matter if this is a mid range card or not when price and performance its all you need to fight the battle. AMD has 7990 coming out. Even if they use to the ultra high end Nvidia GPU HD 7990 will still be king.

There has not been once where Nvidia had a single GPU 40% faster then ATI even in HD 2900 XT , 8800GTX days where Nvidia was at its best. We can only dream but i want performance but dont want a huge price tag because of it.

These rumors are so false. Yeah, the GTX 480 was going to be a killer card, right? How did that turn out.

And what about that faildoz....I mean bulldozer? -- AMD made some drastic changes to the 7970 to give it some nice performance boosts, I doubt the Kepler is going to make as big of a leap over the GTX 580 as the 6970 to 7970 did.

I don't doubt that the Kepler will be 10-20% faster then a 7970, but I bet it'll be a little hotter, use more power and won't overclock like the current ATI cards, and this is from history here. AMD has always done better in an overall card then Nvidia has, it just never really had the performance crown very long.
