Nope, the ABS is more than strong enough, just needs some better bracing. As for shelving, I plan to add one more shelf above the monitors.

I figure add 2 more support 1/3 and 2/3 along the back, and same for the second shelf. then horizontal crossers at about 4" - 8" off the ground.

I don't think I would need to fill the legs though, 1 1/2" ABS is pretty damn strong.

I got the plywood from Home Depot, they have a vertical plane saw there and they cur all the pieces for me, or else they would not have fir in my car lol.

Oh I know, the strength of ABS certainly is good! I have found in other projects with pipe that adding weight towards the bottom 1/3 makes things more stable from any 'sway' that might happen. redface.gif

So the only sway I have is from the amazing mounting system I used for the legs. rolleyes.gif

I might look in to filling the legs though, that would require me to cap the bottoms.

You should brace those legs somehow. ABS is extremely brittle especially cellular core which that looks to be. The plywood will continue to sag more and more without running a stringer across the bottom like a 2x4 on end. Its just pressed wood so as it ages and the fibers do their thing it relieves itself. Grained wood does too, but since plywood is essentially pressboard its fiber sheets are thin with glue that that binds the layers. Not knocking your build I think its sweet, but Id hate to see a future post about broken equipment if those issues werent addressed.

Thanks for tip, I'll run two 2x4's running the length of the desk. And I do plan on adding either horizontal crossers between the legs and most like an X across the back and to sides as well maybe.
