Thanks to Rage19420 and Dwood,
Both gtx 480s now running idle ~35'c load ~52'c (oc 880/1760/1848).

That's some Ninja Gansta(tm) work right there! Awesome looking. I'm a fan of the blacked out case, my self.

Yes, amazingly well done job keeping everything neat. Three 620s in that case and it still looks like it could fit a few more things in there. I also like the all black look.

You can fit the covers back on the cards. Just have to cut a small hole for the tubes to slide in and also a large enough port off to the side so that the air from the blower fan can vent. Works good for VRM cooling. I added a few more heatsinks below the PCB plate for additional cooling measures.

What kind of material do you use to cover the gpu heatsink area?

Something really strange is happening with my mod guys....Today i turned my computer on and im getting 23c idle and max temp in games with an overclock of 980mhz is 49c and not a degree over. How can my gpu drop almost 10c under load without touching it? I used IC Diamond Thermal Paste which i dont think has a cure time so i dont think its that plus 10c seems extreme for a TIM cure difference.

Im not complaining i just dont get it. Its not even that cold in my room. thumb.gifthumb.gif

are you using zippys or the bracket. Im thinking here that perhaps an air bubble was lodged and came free or perhaps the pump slid abit overnight and is now getting better seat to the IHS..... IDK, but thats awsome news lol
post #1320 of 8630
using DWoods bracket mate and its on there solid as a rock! The pump is making a little more noise now than before so maybe something did happen....AWSOME if it continues!

Im thinking of selling for a GTX 670 TOP but i dont know...
