When I first received my pumps I plugged them into an extra psu I had and moved the pump head around till it bled most of the air out. You could always try to take the pump head off then remount it or move the whole computer around tongue.gif . I read in reviews sometimes the air doesn't move by itself.

How about the vrm fan? Does anyone power a pwm fan from the video cards pcb?
I really like the idea of controlling something from the cards pcb, or atleast powering it there. It would be less wiring, and leave more headers open on the motherboard for case fans.
Im also entertaining the idea of a fan controller, which ones do you guys recommend?

I never noticed the fan speed change from 29c to 60c so I don't think the 620s have a temp controlled fan feature. Also I did notice the fans only run about 75% of their full speed when running off the pump fan plug.

I used the power from the card to run my fans, here's a couple pics.

Running a 2pin fan results in the fans running full speed.
I'm sure if you ordered some motherboard 4pin fans they'd probably function like the oem fan though.

so kind of amazing... my cards were getting up to 65 c with the case buttoned up (side panel on) now that ive taken the side panel off its dropped 20c max load is 45c i think im going to move the gpu rads infront of the h100 rad so they dont heat up the cpu. and also install a 140 mm fan on the side for intake. would a 140 or 120 push more air? right now im running no intake but i think if i do intake from the top rear and side and then do exhaust from the front that should work out better.

140mm pushes more air than 120 at the same RPM. However, most 140 fans are around 1k rpm for low noise operation. You can find higher CFM 120mm, with higher static pressure as well.
Popular choices for the 120mm are the Gentle Typhoon AP14 or AP15.

An H50 on a GTX 580. I saw this thread and remembered, I have an H50 just collecting dust . This mod is awesome! I shed off 10C on idle and 20C on load!
