I purchased this on sale for $15 as a slight upgrade for my low dollar overclocked G3258 linux minecraft server.
The results were very good. The system is both quieter and cooler than when it had...

The Athlon line has been a solid choice in the budget tier for some time now. While the newer Pentiums and i3's will outpace the Athlons in single-core performance, they also only come in 2c/2t...
The name of the monitor is Acer XZ350CU. Someone will hopefully fix that soonish.
First and foremost, it's an okay display despite the low rating, lemme try to elaborate:

So I couldn't wait until I had saved enough for a Haswell 'Devil's Canyon' Unlocked CPU to put into my new Maximus VI Hero, and instead bought a Haswell i7 4771. I was prepared for a little...
An H50 on a GTX 580. I saw this thread and remembered, I have an H50 just collecting dust . This mod is awesome! I shed off 10C on idle and 20C on load!
I'm thinking of moving to a RASA kit for my CPU but most likely their larger radiators. That RX120 looks great though under the drive cage like that. Real nice. Fat radiator, too.
Does anyone know if this mod will work with the GTX 670? I have heard that the PCB board of the 670 is shorter and the vram are placed mostly on the left side of the card compared to the right for most other cards.
As stated before, i dont see a great deal of point in the mod on a GTX 670 as it already runs cool and quiet (unless other vendors are louder)? My Asus GTX 670 TOP is almost silent under load and still only maxes out at 64c which isnt far off what i used to get with the mod on my gtx 580. VRAM also seems to be close and on other side of the card (left) so i dont think you can cool your VRM's without just placing a random fan somewhere ontop of them
You are lucky, I have not OC my card yet but it is already hitting a little higher than I would like. I have tweaked my custom fan settings with afterburner but the card gets so loud. I have a MSI OC edition which I imagine is pretty loud compared to your ASUS card.
Since there is a chance that I cannot cool the VRAM with the fan bracket, I might just buy the arctic accelero III for the new cards...
oh man. The Asus card is silent upto 80% fan speed. Even at 100% its only as loud as a case fan. I was hitting 75c with the default fan profile and my H100 as intake but then i swapped the fans over to exhaust on my H100 and applied custom fan profile now maxes out at 64c with 70% fan speed. Its silent and cool, i love it!
Lucky you, I really wish the PCB board was the same size as the 680 so I could put on the antec. The antec will fit though right, I will just have to put separate heatsinks on the vram correct?
