Nice but I like the EK universal block better and you can use the bridge with it too.

Ive often thought about heat sinks on the top of the card. The last time I tried that was on a 8800... ah, memories smile.gif

How does that work for you? Any noticable temp difference?

Sort of negates the whole "mod" thing, I suspect tongue.gif

Not sure if it makes difference but when they weren't on there, I gave them a touch while playing a game. Definitely felt to hot for my liking. When I put the heatsinks on they became bearable to touch (not that I touch my graphics card often wink.gif) Don't have a Infrared Temperature Gun so I can't really say the exact temp difference.

Looks awesome though. I'd love to do a custom loop but the price of this mod is just to good to pass up. Love my temps!

After receiving and installing my awesome Dwood bracket, add another member to the club.

I replace the very ineffective and incredibly loud blower fan on my MSI GTX 670 reference design card with an Antec H20 620.

My temps before the mod were (tested running Kombuster for 10 minutes)

Idle: 40C
Full load (using default fan profile - fan at 62%): 85C with a good amount of fan noise
Full load (using a custom fan profile - fan at 80%) 78C and sounding a jet engine.

I lapped the 620 and installed with AS5 and Dwood's basic bracket. I used a single fan exhausting out the back and set the speed at 70% in bios.

Idle: 31C
Full load: 56C (nearly silent)

To cool the VRM a little I installed a 140mm case fan in the side panel directly over the card and set it to blow into the case.

Very happy with the temps and would recommend the bracket to anyone as it really makes the install easy and snappy looking.

For those of you looking for the Antec Kuhler 620, Newegg has them for 39.99 after coupon and rebate (unless you live in California or any other state which charges sales tax, otherwise it will be 43.xx)

Great deal for those who are looking to complete the Dwood mod!
