For those using zipties...

I'll keep you guys updated but...I think my zipties are actually stretching. Its either stretching or air bubbles in the pump...

I've now been folding on my 580 so constant temps around 50C....before I'd fold at 49-50C...I wokeup this morning....60C...
If I continue to get high temps I might tare her apart and get some new paste and zipties on her. It might be time for a dwood bracket....

dWood bracket was a godsend for me. I replaced zipties plenty of times ( which solved the issue of rising temps aside from blowing out the rad ) because of stretching.

The only thing I want to change now is lapping my 620 head. But I havent had a reason to take it apart because of the bracket.

Best advice

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I learned that the hard way.

Why does no one use the stock bracket that comes with the 620? Works great all you need is to drill 4 holes in it and buy some screws. Then if you really want it to look nice just grind off the corners.

because the coolers come with different mounting methods depending on a few things like:

1) Where you get it.

2) When it was manufactured

3) I don't know....
