Does anyone know if I can use the same bracket from Dwood that I am using on my 560Ti for a 7970 ?

Specs on PWM contol are vague when it comes to predicting if two fans will work. People have had mixed results. Damage may results.
Some guidelines.
1. Only 1 tach wire connected from 1 fan. Like the 920 fan harness.
2. PWM wire connected to both fans should not exceed 5ma when grounded (and not connected to intended destination).
3. Consider getting the +12v from a PS four pin connector. Your GPU Boards wiring may not handle the extra load at this connector.

Do you happen to know the safe current limit for video card fan headers?

How noisy are the two fans that come with the 920, assuming they are going to be keeping a GTX 670 below 70C. Trying to figure out if I am wanting to spend the money on a pair of Cougar fans.

NO. That has a lot to do with the PCB layout and connector. It's best to assume the PCB trace is sized to support the stock fan at max RPM. I have not chcked the capacity of that little molex connector either.

It's quite tolerable around 33%, I really need to be home and check it out. I remember that full blown is very noisy, but not needed as it only made about 2-3c difference in water temp. The 920 rad has so much with more surface area (it's thicker) than the 620, I really doubt you need a noisy fan speed. It runs well on my SB 2600k CPU.

Thanks. I knew full blown was noisy. Hopefully I can keep it below 30%.

maybe find it useless cause i kept the metal plate and the stock fan on my cards... I mesured the heat with an infrared thermometer and it maxed at 45°c...

Got it running almost 24/7 since november!

But yeah, now i remember my zotac amp edition gave me some bluescreens... So if you don't have the metal plate, yup its needed!

The software is excellent controling the fans, I never hit max on these loud fans; I set the Fan Ramp Start temp from 25-50 and I peaked out around 1500rpm with 39c liquid temp on mine, still a bit loud but not too bad. I have some cougar fans on the way, should make the case quieter.

Those Cougar fans seem real nice and quiet. I wonder how well they mount on the radiators? The PWM model is only 1500 RPM max. I hope you let us all know how it works out.

Does anybody know if a GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 mobo can handle the power reqs of the fan? I've also got a 3 pin fan controller with 1 extra slot I can hook the fan to.
