Can the MSI PE be modded with The Mod? Does it use a reference PCB?

It can easily be modded, and it does not use a reference design. I have a post a few pages back, showing a h100 on a 670 PE.

Ah. From all the GTX 670, can the the MSI PE be considered the best overclocker because you can overvoltage it? Can I also use the Accelero Hybrid Cooler on it?

I have the same card & its modded. But you have to get the VGA heatsinks. If you don't they will over heat & crash on you.

my gpu hits 55c with stock cooling at around 55% fan on kombuster, is this mod worth it?

use a different program to test the temps, but that is pretty quiet already.

What GPU is it?

Try it on 3Dmark11 and Heaven and tell us your temps then.
