but ur powertarget 10-20% up

clock 50-70mhz up run a program like heaven benchmark 3.0 look at temps and artifacts aka green/red dots or blinking
then do the same with the memory run the benchmark again.. look for green dots or blinking

and repeat up til u see dots and blinking (or the temps is too high, if u have the mod i dont think it will happen lol)
when u see dots or blinking... take the last setting abit down

(and remember.. dots and blinking in benchmark will 100% garantie u dots in games)

What would actually blink? The green/red dots or something else?

part of the screen, details.. or corners.. the blinks will be "blackish"

I'm lazy... .. I just set EVGA GTX670FTW 4GB to 145% power. At 25c room temp, Furmark 1900x1200 full AA, I hit 55c.
Not bad as I have fan noise turned down and case temp is 3c higher. Also the pumps mounted on a copper shim so I can keep the GPU base plate on. The 5.25 bays grill cover restricts the rad exhaust somewhat.

I hope you read my reply above? I already answered that 57C is a Heaven max load temp.

My ambient was about 26-28C its summer here.

I'm getting 46C full load temps now with ambient temps of 31C (normal here).

Which card do you have? NVIDIA reference 670? I can't believe that you're getting only 50C max with the cooler of those cards.

Insure the card is fully snapped into the pcie slot. Even if it clicks it may not have a firm connection. Try another DVI cable too.
