[Official] NVIDIA GPU Mod Club - AKA "The Mod" - Page 373

im pretty certain that if a second monitor is attached then the NVidia drivers are locked into 3D clocks and not two 2d as you would use normally when on things like the desktop. This will cause the cards to run hotter. I think the second monitor needs to be unplugged to the graphics card, even having it disabled will not drop the gpu to 2d clocks.

I got 2 monitors on my rig... They idle at around 20°C (+-2°C )
Is that hotter? wink.gif

It does that if they're not the same resolution.

The short stubby cards that have plastic exceeding their length? I have those. The typical bracket will not work. Even a 92mm fan will sit over the bracket. Since I SLI, I kind of have it coming of sideways to cover both cards. http://i.imgur.com/nW3MPJy.jpg

Yep, 2x of these http://www.fractal-design.com/?view=product&category=4&prod=79. You sure that is enough?. If it is enough, its going to make my build look way prettier biggrin.gif
