i used dwoods bracket, which was amazingly easy to install. the 620 rads didnt reach the front of my case (corsair 600t) so i gutted some old fans i had and created wind tunnels with the extra shrouds.

This would be brilliant, same level of fan control as a stock cooler biggrin.gif

haha yeah, that was my first attempt to increase the cooling on my GPUs. busted out the dremel, and it went pretty smoothly. made a small crack when drilling the last screw hole, but you cant really see it with the fan grille on. but when i went to clean off all of the excess acrylic shreds from cutting it, i scuffed up the window really badly. theres a bunch of scratches on it, im planning on buy a new window from corsair at some point and doing it again so it looks better.

Just be sure not to draw more current than your card can output smile.gif
P.S. Try a motherboard port and SpeedFan

So ive purchased a custom backplate and the bracket with the fan bracket attached. Do i need some heatsinks for the vrms/vram? Or will a decent fan suffice on its own? P

heatsinks are unneeded unless you are overclocking, especially if you are doing extreme overclocks.

a decent fan 40mm alone will do a good job, 80mm will work great.
