Thanks, Mike.
As my card doesn't have VRM temp sensor I'm not sure about it. Testing it with the case open and without that fan, the back of the PCB behind the VRM area was kind of hot, nothing scaring. With the fan it's a little warm. I´m away from home for two weeks but I'll try to measure this temps to get a little less subjective information. biggrin.gif
I read somewhere (I believe it was in the Kraken G10 forum) that at reference clocking the G10 fan would be enough to cool the VRM's and VRAM's but it wasn't sure for overclocked cards.
Since my card is factory overclocked (1150MHz (Base) / 1202MHz (Boost) vs. 1046/1085 reference) I was a little afraid of letting it that way. And as you said it can't hurt.

Hangover66 I'm a firm believer in cooling the VRMs at least with mine they get pretty hot and it seems to me that it will eventually shorten the life of the card, also help with overclocking. It sucks that Nvidia does not have any sensors on their cards for this, so we end up testing the backs of our cards to try and get an idea of how hot they get. mad.gif I think what you did with your card will keep it nice and cool. thumb.gif Lucas.vulcan thats one small case to be able to fit that card in there. And it sure looks good ,nice really nice.I bet its alot quieter now and the temp difference is a major plus. Nukemaster I'm with you on keeping it quiet and getting up in the 50s is still great in my books. I guess I'm a little anal about noise but I'd rather sacrifice some heat for noise. Now if I can just get the neighbors dogs to be quiet I'd be living in Paradise. guitar.gif And thanks for all the info on the fans good read. Also hi X hope you get the stuff you need so you can keep playing with your toys. Been to dang busy myself with stuff and havent had time to mess with anything. wackosmiley.gif Anyways real great to see all this awesomeness you guys are doing. It makes me want to drop everything else and jump back in. wave2.gif

well i havnt done anything yet..still waiting on my two rads etc to arrive in the mail..
h70+kuhler 920.
both have previously been tubing mod'
luckily im getting tubing with it too.just need to get a res and coolant..but it seems that even the die hard watercooling suppliers here refuse to sell/help/import what i want.and destilled water is even harder to find.even the shop that i normaly go to..these guys are pros..real pros..they just replied saying sorry destilled water and an anti corrosive adative and a kill coil res or whatever..
im getting fedup with my country..
all these places care for these days is big spenders they all forgetting were and why they started..in their backyards..now theyre on top and dont care..
anyhow im gonna try filling these badboys first without a res or make my own from
a 2L coke bottle just to fill it & bleed it.
ive already found my two 5.25 hd converters for my hard disks+ive got two of those coolermaster 4-in-3 hd cages.so removeing the hd cage is a ++++.i just dont want to untill ive got the rads..then the red gpu shroud..i dont like doin bits at a time..i want to start and do it all at once..
say..can any1 post a new thread or review on an item?ive got an item i want to review and post it here on ocn..any tips?

X use boiled water. Thats what distilled is I think anyway. Just boil it. Let it cool and fill.

seriouslyz???
what will happen if i just let it cool off.then chill the water to freeze point and then fill it with that cold water? will it cause higher avaporasion?

what about bottled water..like still mineral water from the local shop?

I could be wring here, but....

To distil water would you not have to boil it and then catch the steam and let it cool back into water(in a second clean container). This would leave any unwanted minerals in the first boiling pot?

Yes this is what distilling is. You can buy distilled water from a place like Walgreen's or a pharmacy.
Yep thats what distilling is. Just think of it like how you make moon shine, same thing. Kinda sort of but not really. He he.
