Paint should be easy for anyone to do, just go to a hardware store and get some heat resistant paint.

This is the fancy stuff
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-202623076/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=heat+resistant+paint&storeId=10051

That will make the bracket look good, durable paint, and won't impact heat.

Hey guys, nice job with the mod! I just ordered a reference design GTX 680, and there is no way I am going to listen to the stock fan blowing at full speed when this mod is so simple to do! biggrin.gif
However, I'd prefer to have the stock heat plate intact with the default fan to cool the power supply and memory. How thick a copper plate would be needed to be placed on top of the GPU so that the water block can be placed on top of the stock heat plate? What are the dimensions of the "GPU hole" in the heat plate? I think the plate would not affect the temps too much, and the installation would be much cleaner with it. I guess another option would be to cut the "GPU hole" a little bit bigger. What do you guys think, is either of these ideas good?
