Or a larger peice to do vrms and vram
Thanks for the info, is that actuall how a lot of these weird copper heatsink designs are made?

The heatsink in questio is 11mm tall though so it is perfect for placing under for exaample the Krakken G10 for those that have the VRMs placed in the area under the fan.

I think they said they have 5, I went and ordered one. Wish I left the old VRM chips on, I hate gaming and worrying about the VRM having nothing on them ever since I had a GTX 760 VRM chip blow from having nothing cooling it. Hopefully its not a pain to cut the copper

There's no good 360mm AIOs with a good enough pump to compensate.

Most 360mm AIOs perform like a good 280mm

Also, I would take a Classified or Lightning over an Amp! Extreme any day of the year.
why? if some one come to you and tell you hey..heres two amp extreme gpus..FREE>>>with no strings attached...what will you say then????

im just throwing my head in the clouds bra'.....i saw these now for the first time....

guys my mod project/s are on hold...this is going to be a tribute..my grandma just passed on...my last build (now gone) was a tribute to my father...its kinda ironic..as both died around each time im busy with Pc Projects....may she rest in peace...91 yrs of living...she was a real feisty old bird...her spirit was younger than a 16yr old teenager on steroids... ...

i love the evga and msi cards also..i was just day dreaming..cause i never see these in actual builds..peeps always go for asus..evga etc...and forget there are other great brands out there too

I've been working on my first water cooled build. I stumbled upon this thread by the link to the club in @1Scotty1's signature. Thought I'd toss a couple pictures up from when I changed out the stock cooler on my 980Ti for the water block and back plate. biggrin.gif

Disassembled GPU stock cooler.
Beautiful!
Clean it up to prepare for water block.
Front half done.
Cleaned up the back.
Back half done.

That's not a mod, that's installing the waterblock that's made specifically for that video card - per the install directions. This isn't the right thread for that. "The Mod" is when you mod a CPU cooler so it mounts on and cools your GPU. Sorry....

Nice blocks though.... thumb.gif

It's modifying the original hardware so I consider it a mod; however, it was designed for the hardware so perhaps this isn't the correct place. Sorry about that. redface.gif
