I can do some quick sketches for you if you don't see what I mean smile.gif

Also.... I so want that heatsink....rolleyes.gif

Another user linked me this recently, if I wasn't in a rush to go I would find out who but I can later -

Also if you want to spend the time for the sketches you can, I feel like anyone's idea would be better than mine cuz I don't really get into stuff like this haha

That would be me, I'm just sort of frustrated I can't get those heatsinks shipped to europe for a decent price tongue.gif Either way I have a massive aluminium heatsink that I'm modifying for my current card, so hopefully I can get even better temps biggrin.gif

As for the fitting mechanisms... I thought about that exact problem earlier on when I looked on different mountign mechanisms for the fans.

I'll see if I can get time to slap something together for you tomorrow, right now I' making a fan grill for my new cooling fans so that will take priority for now tongue.gif

has anyine seen the new msi sea hawk/corsair gpu?
http://www.corsair.com/en/landing/hydrogfx

i saw a review of this vs the EVGA hydro version..only difference between these two apparently is the evga version uses different implementation of fan control wise for fan and pump + has cooling plate for vrms and etc...
whereas the msi version doesn't..which is strange
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTB2GEYNx3k

seems the aio gpu mod is finally taking its rightful place in the market share...amazing..

can any one tell me what size tubing this looks like?

hard to tell from the picture but I can tell you what a corsair rep told me about the H105 tubing. At one point I wanted to change the tubing off it and contacted Corair support saying I accidentaly cut is and wanted to chage it. Their answer... "The tube is 3/8 inch." so there you go smile.gif

So i picked up a new tool for the mod tool box. Should prove interesting biggrin.gif

I am just trying to mod the lens from my ps3 camera over the seek thermal camera lens for better macro shots. Need a drill and sandpaper but fingers crossed it works. The idea is no different to how the makers upgraded this version to the 2.0 version of the thermal camera-just an extra lens over the exsisting lens. You can buy the macro lens for $60 more. The internals are no different between cameras.

3/8 inch tubing is quite close to 10mm thus a lot of the tubing and fittings also go by mm names. The one you show is very likely 3/8"/10mm inner diameter and 1/2"/13mm outer diameter, which is actually the most common tubing in use and what I use in my build as well. If you want something that has a bit thicker walls on then tubing in the format 3/8"/10mm ID, 5/8"/16mm OD tubing will also work on most CLC pumps. As for fittings... XSPC has some relatively cheap compression fittings, and I got some Swiftech fittings on a sale that I'm very fond of. Other than that most brands are decent and as long as you get them in the correct size it usually does not matter (although some manufacturers has some swivel fittings that are more prone to leaking). A lot of people are very fond of their Bitspower fittings, but they are very expensive compared to what you get imho (they do have the most consistent finish though so a lot of people prefer them in expensive builds). Regular barbs can still look very good though and work very very well to a fraction of the cost of most compression fittings (You can actually get regular ISO-228 fittings at many hardware stores that work very well when combined with plumbers tape).

@X

Ha, i wish i knew that kind of thing. I bought the thermal cam but not the sencond gen version. The second version had a lens cap attachment which offers a wider FOV and allowed macro. its more of just a lens cap attachment at an additional cost. Thing is i have a game for the ps3 which had a lens cap with the disk, you would slide it over the lens on the ps3 camera. It gave a zoom if twisted or wide FOV when twisted the other way. Imo same thing so it should work .....

Its pretty low res @260x190 (not exactly but close) so pretty pixelated on my 10" tablet sceen @1080p mad.gif I hope to do some overclocking with before and afters thermal shots.
